About the event

Children go free at this evening bat exploration at Pierrepont Farm!  With the help of experts from Surrey Bat Group, you’ll learn amazing batty facts, how to tell them apart and possibly even meet a rescue bat (if one is available).

As the sun sets you'll learn how to use your bat detectors (one between two) and how bats use echo-location to find their prey in the dark. Then using the bat detectors, we’ll take a short walk and listen to them echo-locating over the trees and along the hedgerows, seeking out moths and insects for their supper.

This evening event is an exciting chance to discover the creatures of the night at Pierrepont Farm!
