About the event

At Lark Rise Farm, Tim, the tenant farmer for the last 30 years, has farmed using nature-friendly practices which have boosted insect numbers, butterfly counts and bats. Join us for an exploration of the wildlife found on this extraordinary arable farm.

The CRT's Wildlife Monitor, Dr Vince Lea, will take you for a gentle stroll around the farm, stopping along the way to spot summer wildlife – bees, butterflies, wildflowers and birds.  He will also explain how the farm is managed for the benefit of wildlife and our plans for the future.  Children will have a spotter sheet each to keep them busy along the way!
