Celebrating #Farm24 with our tenants and graziers We've loved celebrating #Farm24 with our tenants and graziers. The digital event, hosted by Morrisons and The Farmers Guardian, was created to celebrate British Farming and urges farmers across the country to show their support. Several of our farmers were interviewed by BBC radio stations across the country, putting a spotlight on the highs, lows and laughs of farming life, which are all available to listen to on BBC Sounds. CRT tenants and graziers across BBC local radio stations Tim Scott at Lark Rise in Cambridgeshire met with BBC Reporter Katherine Ganczakowski for a series of interviews on both radio and television He discussed the difficulties of harvesting with the British weather, describing it as the “worst harvest he’s ever had". Kayleigh Robb at Pierrepont Farm in Surrey experienced some technical difficulties due to poor reception while being interviewed live by BBC Radio Surrey but they battled on to pre-record a fantastic interview, showing the reporter the herd of Jerseys, while Bob Felton and Liz Wallis at Twyford Farm in West Sussex showed BBC Radio Sussex's reporter around their home and farm. "It is possible to farm in a wildlife friendly way," Liz told them. "It's all about regeneration," agreed Bob. "It's a privilege to live here, it's a privilege to farm here." Izzi Rainey, who rents land at Mayfields in Norfolk, was also interviewed by BBC Norfolk, telling them all about Bates Moor Farm, where she breeds Highland and Lincoln Red cattle. Here are some of the fantastic photos of our tenants and graziers with their #Farm24 signs!
