The Countryside Regeneration Trust is deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty The Queen. Our longest serving monarch was a lifelong supporter of the countryside, and our thoughts are with all her family over the coming days.

“Queen Elizabeth II was a shining example to the world for her unflinching service and dedication to duty,” says Nicholas Watts MBE, the CRT’s Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

“She has been a constant in all our lives, and we thank her for her complete devotion to the nation, the Commonwealth, and for her love of the countryside.”

We also welcome our new monarch, King Charles III, a man who has long championed the countryside with both words and action. As a Charity, and as individuals, we promise our support to him in creating a better future.
