GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. CRT Village Show Rate My Plate Competition 2020 is split into three categories: “Best of British”, “Butterfly themed” and “Picnic Plate”. The themes are open to your personal interpretation but we’re looking for your photographs that show off British produce or butterfly related to celebrate Big Butterfly Count or of a plate of picnic food. 

  2. The CRT’s decision as to the eligibility of individual photographs will be final.

  3. Photographs entered must be taken in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.

  4. Entrants can submit up to one photo per category on our social media outlets or Rate my plate Competition page comments section on the website

  5. The CRT accepts any form of photo manipulation but we do not want you to deceive the viewer with a misrepresented portrayal of the nature of the photo.

  6. The competition is open to UK residents only (including residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Employees of the CRT, as well as their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 need the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian to enter.

  7. The competition closes at 18.00 on Saturday 25th July 2020. Entries received after this time and date will not be considered. The 3 photo winners will be announced at 16.00 on Sunday 26th July 2020. The overall winner will be announced at 16.00 on Wednesday 26th August 2020. Winners will be announced on Facebook and the CRT website CRT Village Show page. The winner with receive the £25 into their bank account up to 10 days after the announced winner has provided their details.

  8. All photographs will be judged on the following criteria:

    Composition
    Best dressed plate 
    Originality
