GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

CRT Village Show Wild Photography Competition 2020 is split into three categories: “Wild Spaces”, “Wild Close-ups” and “Wild Selfies”. The themes are open to your personal interpretation but we’re looking for your photographs that show off the best of British countryside, its wildlife-friendly agriculture. Of course, farm animals are allowed.
The CRT’s decision as to the eligibility of individual photographs will be final
Photographs entered must be taken in the UK, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man.
Entrants can submit up to one photo per category on our social media outlets or Wild Photography Competition page comments section on the website
The CRT accepts any form of photo manipulation but we do not want you to deceive the viewer with a misrepresented portrayal of the nature of the photo.
The competition is open to UK residents only (including residents of the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Employees of the CRT, as well as their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entrants under the age of 18 need the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian to enter.
The competition closes at 18.00 on Saturday 27th June 2020. Entries received after this time and date will not be considered. The 12 photo winners will be announced at 16.00 on Sunday 28th June 2020. The overall winner will be announced at 16.00 on Friday 28st August 2020. Winners will be announced on Facebook and the CRT website CRT Village Show page.
All photographs will be judged on the following criteria:

Composition
Technical ability
Originality
Suitability for inclusion in the CRT calendar

What We Do

The CRT promotes nature-friendly farming to help reverse biodiversity decline and combat climate change. We believe nature is integral to good farming and we protect, promote and regenerate our land and all life on it. We put our philosophy into practice on over 2,000 acres of working farms, small-holdings and woodland across England.
Slow-worms – the gardener’s best friend

The UK has 6 native reptile species including the curious slow-worm (Anguis fragilis). Although serpent-like in appearance, slow-worms are in fact limbless lizards and an amazing example of de-evolution.
Conservation Volunteer

This is your chance to get 'down and dirty' to help CRT improve the habitats and environment on our farms, with a wide range of conservation projects and initiatives.
