Corporate Social Responsibility Corporate social responsibility is all about a company being a responsible part of society. The best way to give back to society, is fundraising for worthy causes. Companies, customers and communities can and should thrive together and can restore a living, working countryside that benefits all. People The CRT is nothing without its people, we value all staff and volunteers and the work they are doing to restore the countryside. We are an Equal Opportunities Employer as per the Human Rights Act 2010, and work in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We work with the NFU to deliver Health and Safety standards to ensure the welfare of our staff and volunteers. Customers As a charity, the customers of the CRT are the donors. We have the upmost respect for them as the charity would cease to exist without them. We are open and honest in all our communications and make sure they are regularly updated. If donors are unhappy with our work, they are encouraged to tell us by letter, and if necessary, we will report ourselves to the fundraising regulator. Suppliers We conduct due diligence on all our suppliers, and they are selected in line with our finance policy. Environment Recycling, re-using and waste reduction are all important to the CRT because they benefit wildlife. Everything we do is for wildlife, and we limit our usage as much as possible. We also avoid all travel, accept necessary journeys and consider the environment when selecting vehicles. Community People who live in the locality of our farms benefit wildly from our conservation activities. They get to experience the additional wildlife and are invited to visit the farms for special events and activities. Some of our properties have permissive paths running through, which allows our community to experience our work whenever they choose. We also have special initiatives just for the community, such as our Education Programme and the farm orchards. Of course, we can also help you deliver your CSR policy.
