At CRT we believe in educating and inspiring children to help them learn about nature, wildlife and farming, and how we can build a cohesive future for all. We want to empower them with the knowledge they need to make a difference to the natural world, we are doing this through Mosaic our new education programme.

Charity of the Year

Is your school thinking about it’s Charity of the Year nomination for the next academic year? Please consider choosing the CRT.

Farmland wildlife species are declining, smaller farms are struggling to compete, people have grown out of touch with the landscape, and future generations will not know where their food originates.

At CRT we are champions of biodiversity, by taking a holistic approach we work with tenant farmers, wildlife monitors and volunteers to restore farming landscapes and woodlands for wildlife.

By choosing CRT we can help your children to feel empowered and to learn about the wildlife on their doorstep and how we can live harmoniously with nature.

World Animal Day

On the 4 October the world celebrates animals, and we’re inviting you to join.

The planet is entering its 6^th mass extinction, meaning that many species are dying out at a rate roughly 100 times faster than it should.

At CRT we are working tirelessly to create wildlife havens alongside British farmers, giving everyone the best chance at survival. By celebrating World Animal Day with us, you will be helping to engage children to learn about British nature and wildlife, and also raise vital funds to support our work.

Two new residents have made their home at Bere Marsh Farm in Dorset and are already squealing with excitement and busy rootling around.

What We Do

The CRT promotes nature-friendly farming to help reverse biodiversity decline and combat climate change. We believe nature is integral to good farming and we protect, promote and regenerate our land and all life on it. We put our philosophy into practice on over 2,000 acres of working farms, small-holdings and woodland across England.
Slow-worms – the gardener’s best friend

The UK has 6 native reptile species including the curious slow-worm (Anguis fragilis). Although serpent-like in appearance, slow-worms are in fact limbless lizards and an amazing example of de-evolution.
Conservation Volunteer

This is your chance to get 'down and dirty' to help CRT improve the habitats and environment on our farms, with a wide range of conservation projects and initiatives.
