In just one week today we’ll be at Groundswell!

Dr Vince Lea, our conservation officer at Lark Rise Farm, will be leading a Farmland Bird Study Walk with Gavin Siriwardena, Head of Terrestrial Ecology at British Trust for Ornithology.

If you are heading to Groundswell, please join them on a conservation themed tour of Lannock Farm. The walk will explore how to support declining farmland birds, particularly Red List species, by creating the right conditions for nesting, feeding and foraging.

They will look at practical habitat management, tailoring Agri-environment schemes to your land, and sharing simple monitoring techniques to track success. Understanding which species are present, what they need, and where to implement measures can make a real difference for farmland birds.

Time: 5:00pm to 5:25pm, Wednesday 1st July

Location: Safari Tent (Meeting Point A)
