Nestled between the Dorset villages of Stoke Wake and Ansty, Stoke Wake Farmland lies in the shadow of Bulbarrow Hill and the Iron Age fort of Rawlsbury Camp.

Gifted to the CRT by John and Rosemary Collett in 2020, Stoke Wake’s 142 acres of mixed arable and dairy farming is managed by two tenants - John & Caroline Hiscock and Philip and Richard Dean.

Stoke Wake has 14 field parcels, all bordered with wonderful dividing native mixed hedgerows maintained to provide perfect wildlife corridors. The lower reaches of the farm are interlaced with a babbling spring and small ford crossings that provide ideal habitat for aquatic invertebrates and the abundant birdlife that feeds on them.

Noted species that can be encountered at Stoke Wake include brown hare, red kite and clouded yellow butterfly.
